Meeting Saturday,March 16

The Chesapeake Woodturners and the Woodturning Co-Op at Maryland Hall will meet Saturday,March 16 in the Woodturning Room at Maryland Hall.

We will be collecting bowls for the Project ECHO Empty Bowl Supper. So remember to bring a bowl or bowls to donate to this worthy cause.

We will have our first club challenge — something made from plywood. There’s still time to make something imaginative if you haven’t already done so. First prize is $50. And we have a second prize of a year’s subscription to an online turning journal to help motivate you.

The meeting will begin at 9AM with a short business report, show and tell,and this months Presidents Challenge, "Turn something from plywood".

This months guest demonstrator is CW Member, Tim Moore. Tim will demonstrate how he turned and finished a Black and Silver Textured Box.

There is no charge for members or guests.
