Gallery Show at Maryland Hall

Chesapeake Woodturners Gallery Show

at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts

On Friday, September 14th 2012, Maryland Hall for the creative arts hosted a gallery show and reception for the Chesapeake Woodturners. The reception was very well attended and sales were brisk. There was a large variety of turnings on display, from exotic wall hangings to burned and painted pieces.

We were honored to have as our judge, Mr. Steve Keeble, who is the Executive Director of the Collectors of Wood Art.

The best in show honors went to Chuck Engstrom for his perfect bowl.

Second place went to Lou Rudinski for "Pistachio".

Third place went to Doug Bartos for his ash natural edge form

Jeannie Ureno took one of the two jurors choice awards.

Jeff Bridges took the other jurors choice award.

Everyone had a great time at the reception and it was great to be back in the galleries at The Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts once again.
